According to reports, a young Nigerian woman in her early 20s was fatally stabbed by her boyfriend after he suspected her of cheating.
The woman was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
This tragic incident highlights the ongoing issue of domestic violence and femicide in Nigeria.
It is estimated that one in four Nigerian women has experienced physical violence at the hands of an intimate partner, and many cases go unreported or unpunished.

The boyfriend fled the scene and is currently on the run from the police. The victim’s sister shared the tragic story on Facebook and vowed to ensure that her sister’s killer is brought to justice.
